Living Room Cinema System!
This beautifully simple system shows not only how great a living room system can be but also how little impact it has to have on the aesthetics.
The 100” trap door screen from Screen Research disappears behind a flush mechanism when it isn’t being used which keeps the room looking clean and clear from clutter. The MultiPix 1.35 screen material helps to boost the light reflected into the room from the Runco LS-5 projector, giving bright images in low levels of ambient light.
When the client wants to watch TV during the day, the screen quietly disappears back into the ceiling and revels the awesome Planar LUX-80 panel. This monster of a TV is ideal when you need a large, bright image in a room with a lot of ambient light. It’s high output LED back light makes it around 30% brighter than conventional LED TV’s and it looks superb sat in the recessed created for it.
Sound is discreetly provided in the form of the Definitive Technology Pro Cinema 1000 system, carefully hidden behind acoustically transparent cloth on the cabinet below the LUX-80. This compact system uses passive bass radiators to give performance normally associated with much larger speakers.
It just goes to show that if you take time when planning your cinema, the end results can be fantastic.
